Yin with Pam

This is a passive style of yoga (relaxing into the postures). Asanas (physical postures) are held up to five minutes at a time to target the connective tissue of the body. Bolsters and blocks are used extensively. Staying mainly on the floor we move into deep stretches and allow the asanas to do the work by relaxing into the posture, remaining still and holding for time. Yin encourages an intimate awareness of your individual nature - the thoughts, feelings and sensations within your body.
